Briarcliff offers a wide range of physical therapy equipment, which includes computerized treadmills and stationary bikes, as well as a variety of advanced treatment tools, such as ultrasounds and electrical muscle stimulation, along with weights and therapy bands.
Our therapy staff designs individualized plans for each resident based on detailed evaluations at the time of admission. These evaluations encompass both physical and occupational therapies and in some cases as in post-stroke or trauma, speech therapy.
An interdisciplinary team determines what treatment modalities are best suited to each therapy session, duration of each therapy session and time of day best suited to each of our patients. At each step of the way, the rehabilitation process is customized to meet the needs of each individual.
